FAQS

Financing

Will my insurance cover and pay for all of my visit?
It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality dental care. Whether you have insurance or not, we treat all patients the same. Your insurance policy is a contract between you (the insured) and your insurance company (the insurer). On average, dental insurance maximum coverage is around $1500. This maximum benefit for dental insurance has not changed in the last 40 years. Our treatment recommendations are not determined by your insurance coverage but we will work to help you maximize your benefits.

What if I do not have dental insurance?
Great question- you can still be seen! We know that a majority of the population does not have dental coverage. Because of this, we have developed our own in-house dental membership plan to offer you. On our plan, there is no yearly maximum, no deductibles, no waiting periods. We’ve included a variety of preventative services that you will receive including exams, cleanings, oral cancer screenings, and much more. We do not want dental insurance to be a limiting in factor in you receiving dental care. We know dentistry can be costly however, neglect of dental care can be much more detrimental. We are excited to offer this plan to the Lewisville and Coppell surrounding communities and allow patients to receive quality dental care affordably without insurance.

What should I bring to my first appointment?
Thank you for choosing us as your trusted dental provider. We are so excited to meet you! On your first visit, please bring your ID card (driver’s license or other), your insurance card (if applicable), and completed patient information forms (which you can fill out electronically). Once you get here, we’ll take care of the rest!

What can I expect during my appointment?
On your first visit we want you to feel comfortable and valued. We will review your dental history, address your concerns and develop a treatment plan customized for you and your needs. We will take a few intraoral pictures and x-rays of your teeth to develop a diagnosis. At every visit (first and continued regular follow-ups ) we will examine your jaw joint, your gums and your teeth to make sure there are no changes occurring in this interrelationship. We value dental health in relation to overall health.

What if I have to cancel my appointment?
We understand that unforeseen events do happen requiring you to change your appointment. In our office, we reserve quality time specifically for you to be seen with Dr. Patel and we request that if you need to change or cancel an appointment, please allow us a 48 hour notice. We truly appreciate the cooperation.
